PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
-
Place the paper on a flat surface; study table for instance. The surface must be clean and must not have any slants or inclination.
-
The photograph has to be taken in well-lit conditions probably in the day time keeping in mind the formation of shadows on the paper.
-
In order to decrease the formation of shadows on the written material, maintain a certain distance from paper or the written material while photographing it.
-
Make sure the image is being saved in high resolution and the aspect ratio of 16:9. This can be adjusted in the camera settings options of the phone/camera.
-
Turn on the guidelines to get an idea of the paper planes.

6. Make sure that while taking the photograph, the camera is placed directly on top of the written material, avoiding any other camera angle that might distort the written text in a photograph. Phone(camera) and paper should be in parallel planes while photographing. Maintain a distance of 1-2 ft to avoid shadows.

8. The image must be focussed and sharp, try using flash only during the day time.
9. If the photograph is being made in artificial light, make sure the direction of light is from the top left, and try to maintain minimum shadows on the written material. Do not use flash in any artificial light.
10. In case the written material is light or partially translucent, place another white coloured blank paper beneath the written surface to photograph.
